This 1967 Citroen DS21 was shortened and prepared for rallying in France in order to participate in the Historic Rally of Morocco. The conversion and preparation were carried out by a specialist company called SM2a Engineering. They fitted the car with a roll-cage, a hydraulic semi-automatic gearbox and a tuned engine.
After a few years the car was put up for sale and purchased by a Dutch buyer who also had the idea of taking part in a long-distance road rally. He entrusted the preparation to an experienced Citroen competitor who was also a gearbox specialist. He converted the gearbox to 5-speed and tuned the engine to 140 HP.
The car was then entered in the 2023 Historic White Nights Rally, which took the particpants through most of the artic countries over a period of more than 15 days.
Due to moving to another country and not being able to import the car in his new overseas home-country, the car is now being offered for sale. The car comes from a private seller and has EEC registration papers.
