Dixon Riley 9 Brooklands, 1930.

The first owner of this car was the Riley Competitions Department. It was then purchased by Freddy Dixon who developed the car into an effective machine to beat the works cars. Freddy raced the car for the first time in the 1932 Ulster TT at Ards. He did not finish the race but was leading the works Riley's for a while. Freddy campaigned it extensively in 1932 and 1933 before moving to six cylinder Rileys.

The car was then raced in numerous events by Pat Fairfeld and Miss Rita Ron. After them the car was used for a while for the road until being bought by the late Nev Farquhar who restored the car and proceeding racing it.

In 2006 the car was bought by historic racer and Riley specialist Keith Pointing who also kept competing with the car, until he sold it to the present owner, a collector of many sort of important competition cars.

Now in very good condition and well documented. The car has the original British road-registration and is available for inspection in the UK.
