This Riley Nine Brooklands was a Riley Works racing car from 1932 to 1935. It participated in the 1932 Ards TT race, the 1933 and 1934 Le Mans 24 Hours Race and the 1934 Brooklands Rudge Whitworth Trophy and the 1934 Alpine Rally.
The car was also prepared for the 1936 Le Mans race which was unfortunately cancelled.
From 1937 to 1939 this car participated in races in Southport, Recar, Sand, Croft, Bo'Ness, St.Andrews, Winfield, Carter Hall, Ballyclair and Crimmond. In 1951 the car participated again in Dunrod, Ulster and then in Goodwood VSCC races until it left for South Africa and was raced there from 1963 to 1967.
In 1984 the car returned to Europe and continued to participate in VSCC events there.
Since 2015 in the car in the hands of the present owner who raced it already once in the Historic Le Mans.
Very well race-prepared and it comes with a FIVA passport and a new set of FIA HTP.
Now the car is already being raced again in 2022 on behalf of the owner. It raced at Oulton Park and at Prescott - Orchard / Pardon the car was the fastest of 3 Brooklands in Class 2.
Being an original and period Le Mans 24 Hours participant this car is a guaranteed entry for the Le Mans Century Event in 2023.
Car is in excellent and competitive racing condition.
