Diva GT Le Mans, 1964.

This particular car was sold new by Tunex to young racing driver Jacky Oliver who intended to race it in the 1964 Le Mans 24 Hours race. For this purpose he fitted the car with a rare 5-speed gearbox, Cosworth tuned 1293cc engine and discs in front and rear. He then also widened the chassis. Then he disposed of the fibre-glass body and had the car bodied in aluminium in his father's Jaguar dealership.

Jacky Oliver was then accepted for the 24 Hours race and went to Le Mans a few days before the race in order to sort out the racing-papers at the spot. Regretfully protests by Triumph delayed providing the racing-papers and Jacky Oliver was prevented from starting the race.

Jacky Oliver raced the car victorious in national races until end 1964. He then sold the car to Tony Goodwin who raced it very succesfully until late 1979.

Both Jacky Oliver and Don Sim have contributed all their knowledge and data to restore this car to its former glory. It will come with lots of documentation and a new FIA HTP.

Now in mint condition and prepared for endurance racing.
