Lancia B53 Allemano One-off, 1952.

This 1952 Lancia Aurelia B53 is the actual 1953 Turin Motor Show car. The coachwork was made by Carrozzeria Allemano, specifically for this one car. The one-off design of this B53 Aurelia Coupe was done by Giovanni Michelotti.

Michelotti worked for a various coach-builders, most notably for Vignale where he was chief designer, before opening his own design studio.

This car’s 2-door, four-seater body was all in metal, but the doors and bonnet were in aluminium.

Lancia started with fitting their Aurelia B50 and B51’s with their V6 1.754 cc engine. This B53 Coupe had already been fitted with the larger size 1.991 cc V6 engine which had been developed for the B20.

One of the previous owners of this car had the very original car completely restored in the late 2000’s. Around 2011 the Aurelia B53 Allemano remained some years in a museum collection. In 2017 and 2018 the car was entered in some Concours d’Elegance.

Today this one-off coach-built car is still in excellent and well maintained condition. It will certainly be an asset for a Lancia collector or do great at the scene of the Concours d’Elegance.

It will come from a private owner with EEC documents.
